CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGIES DEPARTMENT

The Construction Technologies Department is the branch which gives education aiming at giving the students competence and efficiency in Woodware Structuring Systems, Reinforced Concrete Structuring, Concrete  and Foundation Technologies, Facade Systems, PVC Joinery, Roofing Systems, Steel Construction Draftsmanship, Interior Design Draftsmanship, Architectural Draftsmanship, Restoration Techniques, Static Structure Draftsmanship, Interior Designing and Decorations, Structural Insulation and Structural Surface Covering Techniques.

Nowadays, a wide range of buildings of various purposes from independent  one-floor houses to skyscrapers, and several kinds of structures serving for various purposes, such as dams, highways, factories, bridges, trestles (viaducts), and tunnels are built  with modern structuring Technologies. Thus, the constructing sector has been gaining speed and quality with the developing technology.

Construction is and will be one of the leading sectors as long as humanity exists, and as the technology advances, structuring gets more qualified and speedy. As a matter of fact, in Turkey, where the risks of earthquakes are extensively high, it is vital to construct earthquake safe and sturdy buildings. The most determinant factor is the quality of work carried out, well qualified labour and the engineering capacity of the construction companies. Well educated staff with efficient qualifications can easily be recruited in large scaled firms and enterprises.
